C’est le Britannique Tom Pidcock qui a remporté le championnat du monde du contre la montre juniors. A Bergen, en Norvège, au terme des 21,1 km il devance par un temps canon de 28 min02 15 (45,2 km/h) l’Italien Antonio Puppo à 11 sec 91 du Britannique et le polonais Filip Macejiuk à plus de 13 sec. Le premier Français est Florentin Lecamus Lambert à la 37ème place à 1min48 du Britannique.
Tom Pidcock a remporté le Paris Roubaix juniors cette saison et il est tout simplement le champion du monde et d’Europe juniors de cyclo-cross. Le phénomène britannique accroche une nouvelle médaille à son (déjà) impressionnant palmarès.
