Morgan , pourquoi avoir rejoint Raleigh ?
« En premier lieu, Ti Raleigh a laissé beaucoup de bons souvenirs sur les routes françaises. Raleigh était aussi la marque que Laurent Fignon utilisait pendant un moment. Beaucoup de coureurs restent dans leur pays mais il est très intéressant de voir ce qu’il se passe chez les voisins, surtout chez les voisins anglais. Raleigh a un calendrier qui tient la route et compte des personne très passionnées et impliquées qui donnent envie de s’investir. Il y a aussi les Tours Series qui sont très attirantes. On a envie de découvrir ce nouvel univers. »
Connaissez-vous les critériums anglais ?
« Pour le moment j’en ai simplement entendu parler mais j’ai pu voir aussi quelques vidéos. Je trouve le principe génial. J’ai vraiment hâte de découvrir cette ambiance particulière. Je sais d’avance que cela va me plaire. »
« Sortant d’un hiver rendu difficile par une opération à un genou j’ai du décaler mes objectifs. Mes premiers objectifs seront donc a présent la Route Adelie et le Tro Bro Leon. Ensuite, je serai a 200 % pour les Tours Series. Pour finir, il y aura le championnat national et l’objectif de fin d’année sera le Tour de Grande Bretagne. »
« Pour moi le cyclisme anglais est le meilleur. On peut y faire de la piste et de la route, il n’y a pas de problème à ce sujet. J’aime leur approche du haut niveau, optimiser un maximum le moindre détail pour faire une différence. Quant au principe des Tours Séries, il est simplement génial, je serais heureux avec le team Raleigh en Angleterre.

Morgan, why did you choose Raleigh ?
« I chose Raleigh for several reasons. Firstly the race calendar with a mix of French race and criterium type events. But also to discover the British cycling scene which should suit a rider like me. »
3 french riders in Raleigh, do you like this team, why?
« France is attracted to Raleigh for many reasons, first the history with Ti Raleigh,duing 80 ‘s, and Laurent Figon rode with Raleigh too . Secondly because french riders feel good inside this team as Eric Berthou or Alex Blain . Many riders stay in their country but it is very interesting to see what happens with the neighbouring countr . Raleigh have a good calendar and the staff are very passionate and onvolved ,that makes you want to invest. »
Track World Champion (x2 )! , you have the profile to win Tour Series ? »
« I have the ideal profile for this type of competition and I also have experience . I intend to be a strong player in the series rounds this year. and why not to win it, but it’s most important the team win, we ride as a team firstly. »
How do you find the English crits ?
« At the moment , i’ve never been, I ‘ve heard about it . But I also watch some videos, it’s very impressive. I find that fantastic . I cannot wait to experience this special atmosphere. I know in advance that it will make me happy. »
What’s your goals for the season?
« Leaving a winter hampered by a knee surgery I had to shift my primary objectives, but I will be present the Races Route Adelie and Tro Bro Leon then I would be 100 % for the Tour Series and the national championship, the main of the year-end will be the Tour of Britain. »
What do you think about British cycling?
« For me British cycling is the best, you can find very good races track and road, there is no problem to find a race. I love their approach to high-level optimizing and maximising every detail to make a difference . The principle of the Tours Series is great.! I think i’ll be happy in England with Raleigh. »
