On y retrouve Ryan Mullen, qui vient de faire 7ème au contre la montre U23 à seulement 19 ans et une belle équipe chez les élites avec Matt Brammeier, champion d’Irlande en titre, vainqueur la semaine dernière en Belgique, Sam Bennett qui sort d’un superbe Tour of Britain avec une victoire d’étape et deux places de 2ème, Dan Martin vainqueur de Liège Bastogne Liège, du Tour de Catalogne, d’une étape au tour de France et de Nicolas Roche, vainqueur d’étape sur la Vuelta, porteur du maillot de leader et 5ème du général. Celui-ci est nerveux avant le contre-la-montre demain.
Nicolas, comment vous sentez-vous avant le contre la montre de demain ?
« Je suis un peu nerveux car c’est mon premier championnat du Monde du contre la montre. On va voir demain mais je suis nerveux. »
Comment est l’ambiance au sein du Team Ireland?
« Très bonne, on est tous ensemble en ce moment avec les juniors Mark Downey, Eddie Dunbar, Dylan Foley, et les U23 avec Ryan Mullen et Marcus Christie. C’est sympa de se retrouver. »
Dan Martin est l’un des favoris, est ce vraiment un profil pour lui ?
« Oui c’est clair, je pense que c’est vraiment pour Dan, il est très intelligent et très rusé, donc si il est dans un bon jour , ce sera l’un des tous meilleurs, ça c’est sûr. »

Yes of course, i think it’s a good race for him. He is a clever rider and if he is on a good day, he will be one of the best for sure.
