Le team Nicolas Roche Performance frappe un grand coup sur les 2 jours de Charleville

Ce week end ont lieu les 2 jours de Charleville dans le Comte de Cork en Irlande. Les juniors de la Nicolas Roche ont montrer toutes leurs qualites sous la direction de Philip Finegan.

Hier apres midi, c’est le jeune Danny Bruton qui remporte la premiere etapes face aux differentes categories d’elites. Le jeune Bruton qui n’a pas ete retenu pour les Mondiaux a Florence a cause d’une clavicule cassee juste avant le Tour d’Irlande junior, avait ete tres combatif sur le dernier Tour du Pays de Galles il y a 2 semaines. Hier, il a montre sa puissance et son retour au premier plan en remportant la premiere etape sous la pluie.

Pourtant a 25 km de l’arrive, 4 coureurs partent en contre derriere un seul homme le coureur Sean Hahessyon (Kan) on trouve son co-equipier Laurent Dumoulin, Colm Sheahan (Blarney), Liam Corcoran ( NRPT ) et David Winship ( Newcastle West ). Ils ne vont compter que 40 sec d’avance sur un peloton totalement controle par les coureurs de Nicolas Roche Performance.Mais a 5 km de l’arrive, tout ce monde sera recupere par le peloton malgre une derniere tentative de Mark Flavin (Dungarvan CC) et Mark Quigley (Western Lakes).

Au final, c’est le puissant Danny Bruton qui remporte le sprint du peloton devant Alan Brosnan et s’empare du maillot de leader jusqu’a ce matin.

Ce matin, le Chrono a ete remporte par Dylan Foley , le co equipier de Bruton. Le selectionne au sein du team Ireland pour les mondiaux sur route confirme sa grande forme en devancant Sean Hahessy. Mais il faudra faire tres attention aux hommes du Team KAN, Sean Hahessy et Eddie Dunbar ( leader du team national junior Irlande) ne se laisseront pas faire sur la derniere etape cet apres midi, et on connait tous les longs raids de Dunbar qui lui avaient permis de remporter le Tour d’Irlande junior.
